Acceptance of terms
These terms govern the use of miamiphotographycenter.com and the services of Miami Photography Center (“MPC”, “we”). By requesting a service or using this site, you agree to these terms.
Services
MPC provides repair and maintenance of cameras, lenses, and audiovisual equipment, sensor cleaning, mobile on-site service, and photo & video productions. The specific scope of each job is confirmed in writing (email or quote) before work begins.
Diagnostics, estimates & approval
Before any repair is performed, we run a diagnostic and send you a quote. No work is carried out without your approval.
If a diagnosis requires disassembly or advanced evaluation, a technical fee may apply; we always inform you before proceeding. For on-site visits, a travel fee may apply depending on your location.
Service warranty (6 months)
All repairs include a 6-month warranty covering both labor and parts on the work performed. If the same fault reappears within the warranty period, we service it again at no cost.
The warranty does not cover:
- New faults unrelated to the repair performed
- Subsequent damage caused by accidents, drops, liquids, sand, or extreme conditions
- Equipment opened, modified, or serviced by third parties after our repair
- Normal wear and tear
Shipping & equipment handling
If you ship your equipment to us, you are responsible for packing it securely; we recommend the original packaging or a padded box. We handle all equipment with professional care from reception to return and keep you informed at every stage.
Carrier transit is governed by the carrier’s own terms and coverage. We recommend removing memory cards and backing up your files before shipping or dropping off your gear.
Payments
Payment is due upon completion of the approved work, before the equipment is returned or shipped back. Quoted prices may be adjusted only with your prior approval if additional issues are found during the repair.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MPC’s total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount paid for that service. MPC is not liable for indirect or incidental damages, lost profits, or the loss of data stored on memory cards or internal media — always back up your files before service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Florida.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
