Note: A travel fee may apply depending on your location.

02 What types of equipment do you repair?

At Miami Photography Center, we offer full technical service for a wide range of photographic and audiovisual equipment, both digital and analog.

Includes:

  • DSLR, mirrorless, cinema, and medium format cameras (digital and film)
  • Lenses (zoom and prime, manual or autofocus)
  • Flashes, lights, triggers, monitors, and recording units
  • Accessories such as tripods, grips, eyecups, straps, adapters, and more

We work with leading brands such as Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Blackmagic, and many others. All our services come with a 6-month warranty.

03 How long does it take to repair my camera?

Most repairs are completed in about one week, depending on the initial evaluation and parts availability.

Includes:

  • Full technical diagnosis and inspection
  • Ordering and replacement of parts, if needed
  • Cleaning, calibration, and complete testing

We keep our clients informed throughout the entire repair process.

04 Is it safe to use professionally repaired cameras for commercial work?

Yes. A professionally repaired camera, serviced by experienced technicians, is fully capable of delivering top-level performance — even in demanding environments.

Our maintenance and repair processes ensure:

  • Accurate focus, exposure, and mechanical function
  • Stable performance during long recordings
  • Reliable operation under professional use conditions
05 Do you use original replacement parts?

Yes. All of our repairs are carried out using original manufacturer components, or certified equivalents when OEM parts are not available.

This ensures:

  • Full compatibility with your equipment
  • Long-term durability and stability
  • Preservation of your professional performance and value

All our repairs include a 6-month warranty covering both labor and parts.

06 How do I ship my equipment?

Start with our repair form — describe the issue and your gear, and we’ll respond within one business day with intake instructions and a prepaid shipping label.

The process:

  • Pack your equipment securely (original packaging or a padded box is recommended)
  • Print the prepaid label and drop the package off with the carrier
  • Track every step — we confirm reception, diagnosis, quote, and return shipping

Most jobs are repaired, tested, and on their way back within 7–15 business days.

07 What does the 6-month warranty cover?

Every repair includes a 6-month warranty covering both labor and parts on the work performed.

Covered:

  • The specific repair carried out, including any components we replaced
  • Workmanship — if the same fault reappears, we service it again at no cost
  • A free re-clean within 30 days for sensor cleaning services

The warranty does not cover new, unrelated faults, or damage caused by accidents, drops, or liquids after the repair.

08 Do you give free estimates?

Yes — once your equipment is in our hands, we run a full diagnostic and provide a quote before any work begins. We never proceed without your approval.

  • On-site visits include diagnostics and repair estimates
  • At events, conferences, and meetups we offer complimentary evaluations on the spot
  • If a diagnosis requires disassembly or advanced evaluation, a technical fee may apply — we always inform you beforehand, no surprises
